Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of professional engineering experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Experience coordinating with systems integration and validation teams for autonomous solutions.
• Knowledge of autonomous sensors and positioning technologies (cameras, LiDAR, GNSS, IMU).
• Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, and ROS 2 protocols or software integration.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and evaluate autonomous machine systems.
• Translate customer requirements into clear system-level requirements.
• Support product development from design to rollout and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, systems integration, and validation teams.
• Validate software and hardware integration in lab environments and on construction equipment.
• Work with autonomous technologies and sensors (cameras, LiDAR, GNSS, IMU).
• Support integration of autonomy system protocols and software using CAN, Ethernet, and ROS 2.
• Document system requirements, designs, decisions, and validation criteria.
• Communicate progress and trade-offs to cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot system-level issues and propose data-driven solutions.
