Job summary

KrateoSky is seeking an Autonomy and Software (AS) Capability Leader to build and scale a unified autonomy stack across defense and commercial products. You will govern standards, drive architecture, and lead a high-ownership team responsible for runtime, ML perception models, and ground control software.

The role requires deep technical fluency, strategy execution, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment. Remote US‑based with collaboration hubs nationwide.

Qualifications

• Architected and shipped complex software stacks for autonomy or robotics.
• Fluent in systems programming and scripting.
• Experience in flight control stacks or perception/ML pipelines.
• Leadership experience or matrixed leadership.
• U.S. DoD Secret clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Align technical standards and architecture across product lines.
• Lead capability governance and reviews.
• Partner with product leaders to enable shared assets.
• Oversee AI-native engineering and MLOps practices.
