Job summary

CVHCare in San Ramon, CA is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to diagnose, treat and prevent speech, voice, swallowing and related disorders in our home health setting. You will work with autonomy within an established California home health leader, using various techniques to improve patient communication and swallowing abilities.

Entry-level clinicians welcome; valid CA SLP license required.

Qualifications

Valid CA Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license in good standing
Open to entry level or candidates with no prior home health experience
Reliable Transportation and Auto Insurance
CPR/BLS Certification
Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under supervision of a licensed professional
Good computer skills and ability to complete EMR documentation in a timely manner
Must be able to attend one week of Orientation and Training

Responsibilities

Diagnose, treat and prevent speech, voice, swallowing and other related disorders.
Record and analyze speech, language and swallowing irregularities and help patients develop or recover reliable communication skills.
Participate in case conferences, in-services and other meetings (remotely) to ensure coordinated care.
In the home health setting, set your own schedule with support from the company.
