The role focuses on developing, validating, and deploying autonomous systems, with opportunities for hands-on testing, collaboration, and growth in a global team on onsite locations in Peoria IL or Dallas TX.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, CS, CE, Data Science, AI Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics or related field (start date).
- ABET accreditation preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects are a plus).
- Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 (no rounding).
- Experience with robotics, autonomy, mechatronics, or embedded systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop autonomous AI-powered technologies for Caterpillar machines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on robotics software integration.
- Validate machine behavior using simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Contribute to HMI design, software architecture, and system performance.
