Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation in Reno, NV is seeking licensed Physical Therapists to deliver one-on-one geriatric care in homes and senior living communities. You’ll assess, treat, and develop plans of care with autonomy over your schedule, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and using our Geriatric House Calls model.

Telehealth may be incorporated to extend access, and new grads are welcome through the Emerging Professionals Mentor Program.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in NV or eligible
• Experience in geriatric home care or senior living settings preferred
• Ability to work autonomously in homes and communities
• Current CPR certification is expected

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one physical therapy to older adults in homes or senior living settings
• Perform evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
• Deliver therapy sessions to improve mobility and independence
• Document in FOX EMR per regulatory standards
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs and Fitness Specialists
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on safety and aging in place
• Incorporate telehealth when appropriate to extend access
