Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production ML infra or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or C++, with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed training frameworks like PyTorch Distributed, Ray, Slurm, or Megatron-LM.
• Experience building distributed data pipelines for large-scale datasets.
• Track record owning projects end-to-end from design to production and monitoring.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain scalable training, orchestration, and experimentation infrastructure.
• Identify bottlenecks by developing tooling for experiment tracking, profiling, and hyperparameter tuning.
• Implement and scale robust data pipelines (ETL) for multi-modal data from assets and test sites.
• Deploy high-throughput, low-latency model serving for cloud and air-gapped tactical edge.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for ML models including regression testing and safe rollout.
• Implement evaluation, validation, and RLHF/DPO loops for safety.
• Partner with AI Researchers to translate modeling requirements into scalable infrastructure.
• Mentor peers, perform design/code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
