Job summary

ATOMS is seeking a field service technician to install and support autonomous vehicle hardware across the United States. You will perform on-site installations, calibrations, and preventive maintenance to ensure field systems meet operational standards.

This role requires up to 75% travel to customer sites, independent work, and close collaboration with engineers. The base salary ranges from $58,000 to $73,000 per year, with potential equity awards and a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service or related technical support experience.
• Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and electrical testing tools.
• Solid understanding of vehicle systems (power, CAN bus, sensors, ECUs).
• Ability to work independently in field environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation of Pronto hardware and software solutions.
• Install peripheral hardware and network components.
• Conduct system calibrations and validation tests.
• Coordinate with customer teams on training and maintenance.
• Serve as the face of Pronto during on-site visits and document services.
• Provide basic training to customer staff.
• Document all service activities using internal ticketing and CRM tools.
