Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, is seeking an Autonomy Engineering Manager to lead the Autonomy team focused on fault management and spacecraft autonomy. You will oversee staffing, mentoring, and process improvements while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet program objectives.

You will drive technical reviews, forecast staffing needs, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of autonomy solutions across satellite programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in satellite design and/or operation.
• 1–2 years in technical leadership of complex projects or teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage team of ~10 engineers and provide mentorship.
• Perform technical review in Autonomy with SME support.
• Drive execution on Autonomy programs and subsystems.
• Develop and improve engineering processes.
• Define team organization, scope, and workflow.
• Grow the team through hiring and development.
