Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neurorehabilitation in Waco, TX seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for home and community-based adult neurorehabilitation. You will be the primary treating SLP from evaluation through discharge, designing a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize functional outcomes for patients.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program is required.
• Valid SLP license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification and at least 1 year of SLP work experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injury preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing/family conferences.
• Conduct discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and referrals.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
