Job summary

SustainableHR seeks a Clinical Dietitian in Omaha, Nebraska. This full-time, on-site position offers autonomy as the organization’s primary dietitian, with responsibilities spanning nutrition assessments, therapy, and care plan development for patients recovering from neurological and physical injuries.

Requires Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential and Nebraska licensure eligibility. Approximately two years of clinical nutrition experience preferred; graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must hold RD/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential.
• Licensed or eligible for Nebraska licensure as a dietitian.
• Approximately two years of clinical nutrition experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and create individualized care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy based on diagnosis and recovery goals.
• Monitor weight trends, labs, and nutritional status; adjust plans as needed.
• Develop and oversee therapeutic diets and cycle menus.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and the care team.
• Educate patients and families to support long-term health and transitions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
