Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy in accordance with AND SOP and SOPP. You will develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive nutrition services program for residents, participate in care planning with the care team, and ensure education and follow-up prior to discharge.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Human Nutrition or equivalency required.
• Master’s degree in dietetics preferred.
• 1–2 years clinical experience with aging population preferred.
• Experience in health promotion and program development preferred.
• For Bariatric Surgery department: experience with carbohydrate restriction for pre-op and postoperative Bariatric patient.

Responsabilités

• Conduct nutrition assessment in the five domains of nutrition assessment as documented in the IDNT.
• Identifies nutrition diagnoses and documents using PES statements.
• Devises nutrition strategies/plans of care and creates nutrition prescriptions with the team.
• Implements and communicates nutrition plans of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Monitors and evaluates outcomes related to nutrition diagnoses and interventions.
• Integrates SOP and SOPP into practice and ongoing professional development.
• Utilizes evidence-based nutrition information in practice.
• Provides nutrition education to patients, families and caregivers prior to discharge.
