Teal Energi is seeking an Automation & Controls Engineer to design, implement, and optimize industrial automation solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects in Texas. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience programming PLCs in industrial environments.
Experience with Ignition SCADA development and configuration.
Working knowledge of industrial control system architecture.
Experience with networking.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel primarily within Texas.

Responsibilities

Design, program, implement, and support industrial control systems and automation solutions.
Develop PLC applications for process and manufacturing environments.
Configure, integrate, and support SCADA and HMI platforms with a focus on Ignition.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and system performance through automation.
Support robotics integration and automated manufacturing initiatives.
Develop and modify control logic using Structured Text and other PLC programming languages.
Assist with industrial networking, OT infrastructure, and IIoT connectivity projects.
Participate in system architecture development and automation standards creation.
Troubleshoot control system issues, perform system testing, and support commissioning activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers throughout project execution.
Travel to customer sites for startup, troubleshooting, commissioning, and project support activities.
