Job summary

Women’s Specialists of New Mexico LLC in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a strong, cohesive team. The CNM will provide full-scope midwifery care across prenatal to gynecologic services, collaborating with OB/GYN physicians in a physician-owned practice with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible for unrestricted New Mexico licensure as a CNM.
• Graduate of a CNM program accredited by ACME.
• Current AMCB certification.
• New Mexico CSR and Federal DEA registrations required.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered women’s healthcare.
• Strong communication and collaborative practice skills.
• Two or more years of CNM experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Must obtain Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care.
• Manage labor and delivery with patient-centered birth plans.
• Provide well-woman and preventive care including family planning.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage obstetric/gynecologic conditions within CNM scope.
• Order and interpret labs; prescribe medications as indicated.
• Educate and counsel patients to support informed decisions.
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and clinical team.
• Participate in shared call coverage, including nights and weekends.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and professional standards.
