Mach Industries Inc. is building an AI-forward autonomy stack for contested environments. You will design state-estimation and sensor-fusion algorithms powering navigation across product lines, working at the intersection of perception, estimation, and embedded systems.

The role requires production C++ on Linux, ROS/Jetson tooling, and hands-on field testing. Join a fast-growing defense tech team delivering cutting-edge autonomous platforms.

Qualifications

• Modern C++ on Linux with debugging, profiling and testing discipline.
• SLAM/state estimation with EKF/UKF, factor graphs, Ceres/GTSAM.
• Vision/VIO/SLAM with camera models, optical flow, deep learning (PyTorch).
• Sensor fusion: IMU, GNSS/RTK, LiDAR, radar, magnetometer, barometer.
• 5+ years with BS/MS/PhD in CS/Robotics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and productionize vision navigation and targeting features end-to-end.
• Convert detections into measurement models with latencies and covariances.
• Stabilize GNSS to VIO handover and adaptive covariances.
• Build real-time software on Linux/embedded; optimize hotspots; CUDA/TensorRT optional.
• Own calibration and time-sync across sensors; validate in flight.
• Create evaluation pipelines and dashboards for drift and relocalization.
