Job summary

Stack AV is seeking software engineers to join a high-caliber team responsible for Clockwork, Stack's specialized robotics middleware powering production autonomy applications. This role also covers StackOS and Deploy Manager components that govern software delivery and updates on the vehicle, in simulation, cloud, and testing environments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++ with multi-threading and memory management.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and POSIX.
• Experience with high-performance software in resource-constrained environments.
• Experience with safety-critical applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of high-throughput, low-latency logging frameworks for telemetry, events and logs.
• Develop features and optimizations for Clockwork with Autonomy, Cloud, and Safety teams.
• Improve performance, reliability, and usability of Clockwork in constrained environments.
• Contribute to sensor interfaces for the Perception system of the AV.
• Ensure high-quality software via automated testing and code reviews.
