Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Wound Care RN in Simi Valley, California for a 13-week contract on the day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM). You will work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver specialized wound care.

Assess, treat, and prevent complex wounds across inpatient units, develop individualized care plans, and educate staff on best practices to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong wound care experience.
• Wound Care Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds.
• Perform wound consultations throughout multiple inpatient units.
• Evaluate and treat pressure injuries, skin breakdown, and complex wounds.
• Develop individualized wound care treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, bedside nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and staff on wound prevention and best practices.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor patient outcomes.
