Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse, Wound Care (Day Shift) in Concord, California, for a 13-week contract. The position offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, alternating between 0700-1530 and 0900-1730.

The RN will focus on wound care and ostomy care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate holds an active California RN license, current BLS, and a CWCN/CWON/CWOCN/WCC credential with at least 2 years of inpatient wound care experience.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Wound Care Certification (CWCN, CWON, CWOCN, or WCC).
• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient wound care experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with wound care needs.
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans for wound management.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding wound care techniques and ostomy management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document care provided and progress in accordance with organizational policies.
