Qualifications

• 7+ years truck/automotive experience
• 1+ year in Functional Safety testing/development
• Experience with vehicle software highly desired
• Strong workload management and initiative
• Experience with calibration and data tools is preferred
• Ability to summarize technical issues and communicate effectively
• Powertrain testing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Controls Vehicle Validation Engineer for Autonomous Vehicle programs
• Build test plans and conduct System Acceptance and Validation testing
• Coordinate and conduct validation testing across PACCAR divisions
• Perform hands-on validation testing in vehicles
• Verify equipment meets requirements and perform software/data checks
• Plan and manage projects to stay within scope, time, and budget
• Write reports with results, conclusions, and recommendations
• Maintain cooperative relations with other departments
