Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Driver & Test Operator to support AV testing and daily operations. The dual-role combines safe operation of autonomous test vehicles with hands-on testing, data collection, and collaboration with engineering teams.

The role requires a valid U.S. driver’s license with 3+ years of driving experience, plus experience with Linux/QNX/Unix. Training is in Santa Clara, CA, with travel across multiple states and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with 3+ years driving experience.
• Ability to pass company driving assessments and behind-the-wheel evaluations.
• Experience using Linux, QNX, or Unix command-line environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomous test vehicles on public roads, closed tracks, and designated routes.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and vehicle calibrations; document test results.
• Monitor vehicle systems, troubleshoot hardware/software issues during testing.
• Install and validate software on test vehicles and execute test cases with/without autonomous features.
• Collect logs and data, upload findings for engineering review.
