Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Test Engineer for the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Validation department at the Chelsea Proving Ground facility. The role involves executing test procedures to validate ADAS performance on Client and benchmark vehicles, including driving, data collection, and result compilation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on vehicle operation, experience with data acquisition, CAN tools, and software like MATLAB or LabVIEW, and be able to work 1st and 2nd

Qualifications

• Hands-on ability to drive vehicles and operate instrumentation.
• Experience with vehicle electrical troubleshooting and CAN communication.
• Familiar with ADAS features from a driver/customer perspective.
• Experience with data acquisition systems (analogue/digital) and post-processing tools like MATLAB or LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

• Assist with driving vehicles, collect and process data, and compile results.
• Execute test procedures to validate ADAS performance on test vehicles.
• Support data analysis and reporting of validation results.
