Job summary

Venti Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Onsite Validation Engineer to bring up new autonomous vehicles, validating critical systems such as steering, braking, and throttle. You will write automated tests, calibrate tools, and validate vehicles post-maintenance, bridging software and hardware.

You will develop control testing scripts, model vehicle behavior, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance and safety across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Control Engineering, CS, ME, EE, or related field.
• Around 3 years of robotics/control systems/autonomous vehicles experience.
• Strong understanding of feedback control, vehicle dynamics, and controller evaluation.
• Experience with system modeling, identification, or dynamic analysis.
• Familiarity with electromechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic actuation systems.
• Proficiency in modern C++ on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle bring-up validation for steering, braking, and throttle during static and dynamic checks.
• Develop automated testing scripts and tools for calibration and post-maintenance validation.
• Contribute to design and maintenance of motion-control software.
• Model vehicle behavior and analyze controller performance across platforms.
• Optimize controller performance through testing, tuning, and calibration.
• Analyze test data to diagnose issues and drive improvements.
• Ensure safety features including fault detection and safe recovery strategies.
