Job summary

Waabi is seeking a Test Engineer to design and execute test plans for autonomous driving systems. You will coordinate with engineers, prep vehicles, schedule tests on closed tracks and public roads, and generate detailed performance reports.

Responsibilities include vehicle system inspections, maintaining documentation, and ensuring safety at the test facility. This role requires 3 years in a related field and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years experience in a test engineering or related autonomous vehicle development role.
• Experience with Linux command line and data logging tools.
• Python or MATLAB experience for data parsing/analysis.
• Experience leading test campaigns at major proving grounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans on closed course tracks and on road.
• Coordinate with engineers and prep test vehicles for evolutions.
• Generate detailed test reports and document vehicle performance.
• Curate test schedules and coordinate testing resources.
• Maintain safety and organization at the facility and support the operations team.
