Job summary

Moove Vehicle Limited is seeking Autonomous Vehicle Technicians at all levels to support the maintenance and safe operation of our autonomous fleet. From entry-level fleet readiness to senior technical authority, these roles ensure vehicles meet rider-only launch-ready standards.

Technicians bridge hands-on repair execution with technical diagnostics, documentation, and safety compliance. Level-specific tasks include light repairs, complex hardware R&R, and mentoring staff, with final escalation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE Master status and A6, A7, A8 certifications required.
• ASE L3 certification required.
• 7–10+ years of experience for Tech 4; 5–7+ years for Tech 3; 3–5 years for Tech 2; 1–3 years for Tech 1.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-point safety and cosmetic inspections to ensure operational readiness.
• Document all maintenance activities using the 4 Cs framework.
• Execute repair orders to maximize fleet uptime.
• Adhere to high-voltage safety, lockout/tagout, and hazardous materials handling.
• Perform vehicle startups, basic software loading, and data-logging hardware installations.
• Autonomous Vehicle Tech 1: execute light mechanical repairs and tire services.
• Autonomous Vehicle Tech 2: complex hardware R&R, network triage, SOP execution.
• Autonomous Vehicle Tech 3: mentor junior staff and oversee warranty repairs.
• Autonomous Vehicle Tech 4: lead predictive maintenance and resolve complex hardware-software conflicts.

Technicians bridge hands‑on repair execution with technical diagnostics, documentation, and safety compliance.

Scope of Responsibilities

Universal Responsibilities (All Levels)

• Perform multi‑point safety and cosmetic inspections to ensure operational readiness.

• Document all maintenance activities using standardized "Condition, Cause, Correction, and Confirmation" (4 Cs) practices.

• Execute repair orders within maintenance management systems to maximize fleet uptime.

• Adhere strictly to high‑voltage safety, lockout/tagout protocols, and hazardous material handling.

• Perform vehicle startups, basic software loading, and data‑logging hardware installations.

Level‑Specific Responsibilities

Autonomous Vehicle Tech 1:

• Execute light mechanical repairs, tire services, and standardized inspections.

Autonomous Vehicle Tech 2:

• Perform complex hardware R&R (Lidar, Radar, Compute units), network triage, and independent SOP execution.

Autonomous Vehicle Tech 3:

• Act as a senior authority for challenging diagnostic faults, oversee OEM warranty repairs, and mentor junior staff.

Autonomous Vehicle Tech 4:

• Serve as the final on‑site escalation point for complex hardware‑software conflicts and lead predictive maintenance strategies using fleet data.

Required Qualifications

Universal Requirements (All Levels)

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Able to work assigned shift (AM, PM, Overnight), weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift assemblies exceeding 50 lbs.

• Strong adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.

Level‑Specific Qualifications

Autonomous Vehicle Tech 1:

• 1‑3 years of automotive maintenance experience; fleet or rideshare experience preferred.

Autonomous Vehicle Tech 2:

• 3‑5 years of experience with a focus on complex electronics or diagnostics.

Autonomous Vehicle Tech 3:

• 5‑7+ years of advanced experience.

• ASE Master status and A6, A7, A8 certifications required.

Autonomous Vehicle Tech 4:

• 7‑10+ years of experience.

• Proven track record in a Shop Foreman or Lead capacity.

• ASE L3 certification required.
