Job summary

AutoNation in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Technician to diagnose and repair electric vehicles for our autonomous fleet. You will set up vehicles for testing and coordinate with AutoNation and Waymo teams to streamline workflows.

The role requires Jaguar experience, EV familiarity, and hands-on automotive training. A valid Arizona driver's license and willingness to operate 24/7 across shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Jaguar automotive experience.
• Knowledgeable with hand tools.
• Electric vehicle experience a plus.
• Hybrid or EV training and experience a plus.
• Automotive technical training.
• Valid in-state driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and required repairs on electric vehicles.
• Inspect and set up autonomous fleet vehicles for testing.
• Collaborate with AutoNation and Waymo teams to improve processes.
• Document repairs and findings in a service platform.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and safety/quality checks.
• Provide guidance to technicians and communicate parts needs.
