Job summary

Laphcc is hiring Autonomous Vehicle Technicians in Austin, TX. This role requires hands-on electrical, wiring, and hardware experience to install, wire, integrate, and troubleshoot hardware systems on autonomous vehicles. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

In-person, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, full-time contract. Experience with wiring harnesses, sensors, compute modules, and vehicle hardware is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on wiring, installation, electrical, or hardware experience required.
• Valid, active, non-expired driver's license required.
• Clear photo of your current driver's license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Background check required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on vehicles for extended periods.
• Autonomous vehicle experience is a plus, but NOT required.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring harnesses, sensors, compute modules, and vehicle hardware.
• Perform vehicle retrofits and system integrations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and SOPs.

You do NOT need to be an automotive mechanic - but you DO need hands‑on installation, wiring, electrical, mechanical, or hardware experience.
