Job summary

Moove is seeking a highly organized AV Service Advisor to serve as the operations bridge between Field Operations and Maintenance, ensuring precise triage, rigorous documentation, and prioritized service across a 24/7 autonomous fleet.

The ideal candidate will orchestrate service workflows, validate documentation, and enforce safety and quality standards while balancing immediate needs with long-term fleet health. Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills are required for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in automotive service advising, fleet maintenance coordination, or dealership service operations.
• High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in Automotive Technology, Logistics, or Business Admin is a plus.
• Previous technician experience or strong mechanical aptitude is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between field operations and maintenance to streamline service requests.
• Lead technical triage for vehicles returning from field, prioritizing based on shift needs to maximize fleet availability.
• Schedule maintenance tasks balancing preventive maintenance with urgent repairs to optimize depot throughput.
• Collaborate with operations to identify vehicles ready for service without technical intervention.
• Perform root cause analysis to develop long-term mitigation strategies and prevent recurrences.
• Oversee work order lifecycle ensuring accuracy, clarity, and completeness in the maintenance system.
• Monitor vehicle histories to identify failure patterns and hardware trends.
• Provide feedback to technicians to improve repair accuracy and shop processes.
• Track KPIs such as turnaround time, responsiveness, and planned vs unplanned service.
