Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a dedicated Autonomous Vehicle Service Advisor to join our team at a busy service depot, coordinating with our Autonomous Vehicle Partner to maintain and repair autonomous vehicles.

You will initiate repair orders, allocate work to technicians, monitor progress, and collaborate with parts providers while upholding OEM standards and company safety policies. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a 24/7 shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a service advisor role in automotive or autonomous vehicle industry.
• Strong understanding of autonomous systems.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and process repair orders for warranty and non-warranty work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with OEM standards.
• Allocate work assignments to Autonomous Vehicle Technicians based on skill set and workload, ensuring optimal efficiency.
• Monitor repair progress, providing timely updates to the Autonomous Vehicle Partner and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with parts providers to source necessary components, ensuring timely availability to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Participate in daily service depot meetings, providing insights on performance metrics and areas for improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all service activities, ensuring transparency and accountability
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety standards, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure repair procedures are being met in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
