Job summary

Pride Global in Dallas, TX is hiring Safety Drivers to support autonomous vehicle testing. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role with predictable scheduling, competitive pay of $22–$25 per hour, and benefits. Training is provided and prior autonomous-vehicle experience is not required.

You’ll test on real roads, monitor for hazards, and work with engineering teams to help advance the technology shaping transportation's future.

Qualifications

• A valid U.S. driver's license held for at least 3 years.
• Strong driving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and use technology.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle when manual control is required.
• Supervise the vehicle while it operates autonomously.
• Monitor traffic, pedestrians, road conditions, weather and hazards.
• Maintain constant situational awareness and respond to unexpected events.
• Work with remote operators and engineering teams.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and record observations.
• Follow testing and safety procedures and assist with basic tech tasks.
• Provide feedback to improve autonomous driving systems.
