Russell Tobin is hiring Safety Drivers to support autonomous vehicle testing in Austin, Texas. You will operate autonomous vehicles on real roads and coordinate with remote operators and engineers.

• Valid U.S. driver's license for 3+ years.

Mansioni

• Safely operate autonomous vehicles during on-road testing.
• Alternate between manual driving and supervising autonomous mode.
• Monitor traffic, road conditions, the vehicle, and surrounding environment.
• Identify hazards and respond quickly and safely.
• Work with remote operators and engineering teams.
• Perform vehicle safety checks before and after shifts.
• Collect driving and vehicle performance data.
• Document observations and testing activities.
• Assist with basic technical tasks, hardware adjustments, and software uploads.
• Support basic troubleshooting as needed.
