Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Integration Technician in Austin, TX, hybrid environment. The role requires 3–8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree, with travel up to 25% to customer sites.

You will retrofit devices onto autonomous industrial vehicles and help deploy the platform across multiple machine types. You will adapt hardware, install wiring and sensors, and perform extensive integration testing, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure

3–8 years of experience in relevant field.
Willingness to travel 25% to customer sites; open to H1B/OPT transfers.

Responsibilities

Adapt standard platform hardware (power distribution, harnesses, sensors, compute, controllers) to fit each machine model.
Build and install wiring harnesses, connectors, mounting brackets, sensors, and actuators; perform continuity, voltage, power, and CAN/J1939 checks.
Visit customer sites to scope retrofit needs; lead installation, commissioning, debugging and acceptance testing.
Troubleshoot integration problems across electrical, mechanical, and software layers; issue clear change requests to platform teams.
Record build issues and lessons learned to improve Vehicle Adapter Kits; ECU or low‑level embedded programming experience is a plus.
