Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to advance the DRIVE Autonomous Vehicle platform. You will lead cross-team integration, architect platform software, and ensure production readiness across Linux and QNX environments.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in autonomous vehicle software, strong kernel debugging skills, and a track record of building automated tests and build systems. This role involves collaboration with multiple engineering teams and customer-facing productization.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of software development experience for autonomous vehicles.
Strong debugging skills from application to kernel level on embedded hardware.
Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Experience with embedded systems, architecture design and cross-domain HW/SW knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead software integration with a systematic approach to embedded development for NVIDIA Drive solutions.
Architect and develop platform software, tools, and filesystem customization across multiple OSs.
Work with system architects, HW/SW teams, and QA to align schedules and debug issues.
Productize workflows with customer teams for platform integration.
Collaborate to enable automated workflows for development, validation, and releases.
Develop build/packaging infrastructure and automated tests for autonomous vehicles.
