Job summary

Uber is seeking a Lead Product Manager for Autonomous Vehicle Platforms to shape how partner vehicles are designed, integrated, and scaled on Uber. You will own platform requirements from hardware to software, guide OEM engagements, and ensure durable, scalable vehicle-platform decisions across generations.

Qualifications

• Experience building and launching complex hardware or vehicle products from prototype through production.
• Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to define requirements and release schedules.
• Strong technical fluency in vehicle systems and architecture across mechanical, electrical, embedded and software domains.
• Proven ability to own ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives and drive them end to end.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform strategy and requirements for Autonomous Vehicle Platforms across partner vehicles.
• Define minimum vehicle specifications across OEM partnerships and programs.
• Maintain evolving vehicle platform requirements for hardware, embedded software, interfaces and core architecture.
• Collaborate with business development and vehicle strategy to align costs and capabilities.
• Represent the technical requirements in partner and OEM engagements and drive alignment.
