ManpowerGroup, on behalf of our client in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Vehicle Operator Shift Supervisor to join their Fleet Operations team in Austin, TX. The role supervises Vehicle Operators, coaches/direct reports, and coordinates schedules to keep daily operations safe and efficient.

You will work hands-on, mentor the team, and partner with leadership to hit operational goals and support mission success.

Qualifications

12+ months of autonomous vehicle operator experience and an active AVT permit.
Previous leadership, training, coaching, or team lead experience in an operations environment.
Strong problem‑solving skills with a proven ability to improve operational efficiency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, safety‑focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of Vehicle Operators to ensure safe and efficient daily operations.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and regular performance feedback to direct reports.
Coordinate schedules, validate staffing assignments, and complete administrative team support tasks.
Lead by example as a hands‑on supervisor, working alongside the team to maintain operational excellence.
Partner with Fleet Operations leadership and cross‑functional teams to achieve operational goals and support mission success.
