Job summary

Transdev is seeking an Autonomous Specialist in the Los Angeles area to operate and evaluate a self-driving vehicle in autonomous mode, collect data, and provide ride-hail service to the public. Flexible shifts and a focus on safety, customer service, and collaboration with engineers and management are essential.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years driving on public roads, a high school diploma or GED (a four-year degree is preferred), and strong computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving on public roads.
• High School Diploma or GED; Four-year college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate an autonomous vehicle and collect data for evaluation.
• Provide rides in the autonomous vehicle to the general public.
• Maintain Transdev’s safety standards and assist in educating riders about self‑driving technology.
• Document procedures, tests and daily reports; interact with the public professionally.
