Job summary

Nuro is seeking Autonomous Vehicle Operators for an on-site Los Angeles, CA role. This temporary, full-time position includes full benefits and an expected end date 12 months from hire. You will operate autonomous test vehicles, participate in data collection, and support engineers while adhering to safety standards.

Shifts include an overnight schedule (Fri–Tue). A California driver's license and clean driving history are required, with use of company-approved training and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have a current valid California driver’s license.
• 3+ years of U.S. driving experience and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work an overnight shift (Fri–Tue).

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomous test vehicles in manual and autonomous modes up to 8 hours daily.
• Use proprietary software to collect data and provide feedback to engineers.
• Troubleshoot real-time issues with Mission Operations to hit mileage targets.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after missions.
