Job summary

Moove AV in Miami, FL seeks an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Manager (AVOM) for Fleet Deployment and Readiness to own fleet health end to end. You will ensure every unit leaving the depot is diagnostic-ready and performing to standard, coordinating across diagnostic teams, product engineers, ride-hail operations, and vendor partners.

As FD&R leader, you will drive performance, optimize workflow distribution, and foster a culture of continuous improvement to keep the fleet safe and reliable,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related technical field.
• AV experience is greatly preferred.
• Experience leading and developing vehicle technicians in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of automotive vehicle systems and related infrastructure.
• Proven project management skills with a track record of successful execution.
• Operational expertise: experience triaging work orders and managing vehicle flow among partners.
• Analytical and data-driven problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient in Google Workspace Suite.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Located in Miami, FL and able to work onsite daily.
• Availability to work outside standard hours as fleet operations require.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for fleet health enhancement aligned with goals and tech advancements.
• Deployment Readiness: Ensure fleet readiness through assessments and performance evaluations.
• Technical Leadership: Lead diagnostic initiatives to maintain fleet health, enable upgrades, and ensure safety compliance.
• Performance Analytics: Analyze fleet data to identify trends and opportunities for innovation.
• KPI Monitoring: Provide regular KPI reports to stakeholders.
• Product Integration: Collaborate with product teams to streamline processes and improve fleet performance.
• Fleet Coordination: Work with other FD&R managers to maximize vehicles in service.
• People Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team and foster collaboration.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships to ensure cross-partner performance.
