Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in network testing, automation, or a closely related area.
• Strong understanding of OSI layers, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, SNMP, and VLAN concepts.
• Advanced Python and Bash scripting skills, with experience building test automation using tools such as pytest.
• Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, iPerf, tcpdump, traceroute, and ethtool.
• Solid CI/CD and DevOps experience.
• Ability to debug issues across the full networking stack.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks for Ethernet testing.
• Create PCAP and tcpdump tools, along with fault injection scripts.
• Set up and support VLAN-segmented network environments on bench and HIL test systems.
• Work with lab power, DAQ systems, relay controls, and related infrastructure to support validation.
• Test interoperability between switches and sensors; ensure Ethernet standards compliance.
• Document test frameworks, setups, methodologies, and configurations clearly.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve test coverage.
