HireArt is recruiting a Hardware Software Integration Engineer for an on-demand autonomous vehicle platform in Foster City, CA. This full-time, on-site role focuses on ensuring harmony between compute, sensor, networking hardware, and software across vehicle operations.

You will lead debugging, develop automated tests, and collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software teams to drive issues to resolution. Bay Area travel is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, firmware, and software.
• Experience with Ethernet, CAN, USB, UART, LIN, I2C, SPI and related testing tools.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language, Git or other version control systems.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead triage, debugging, and root-cause analysis of complex hardware, firmware, and software integration issues.
• Support bring-up and deployment of compute, sensor, and data networking systems.
• Develop test plans, specifications, and automated testing solutions for vehicle assembly and validation.
• Use analysis tools to evaluate system behavior and improve test infrastructure.
• Improve processes and workflows to increase fleet stability and operational efficiency.
• Travel within the Bay Area as needed to support operations.
