Job summary

HFBAC - Hiring For and Building Awesome Companies seeks a Systems Integration and Test Engineer for Autonomous Vehicle Platforms. You will bring up new AV platforms from the bench to a working fleet, debugging system-level issues across sensors, compute, networks, and power.

You’ll write scripts and build instructions to streamline bring-up and accelerate deployment. You’ll travel to test, customer and deployment sites, joining a senior engineering team delivering hands-on ownership of hardware

Qualifications

• Experience bringing up a vehicle platform from first build to repeatable process.
• Hands-on debugging of perception sensors on a running fleet.
• Familiar with CAN, CAN FD and Automotive Ethernet protocols and tools.

Responsibilities

• Bring up new autonomous vehicle platforms from bench to working fleet.
• Debug system-level issues across lidar, radar, cameras, compute, networks and power.
• Write scripts and build instructions to standardize bring-up and speed repetition.
• Construct bench setups to test changes and plan rollouts to the fleet.
• Travel to test, customer and deployment sites.
