Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking Hardware Integration Engineers to design and build next-generation compute and sensor hardware for autonomous vehicles.

The role covers the full hardware lifecycle, from schematic design and PCB layout through bring-up, validation, and production support. You will collaborate closely with software, firmware, and mechanical teams to ship reliable systems into production vehicle programs and contribute to hardware documentation, BOMs, and test

Qualifications

• BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related degree.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit design, digital/analog electronics, and PCB layout.
• Experience with lab equipment for hardware debug and validation.
• Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and hardware specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for compute, sensor, and interface hardware.
• Support hardware bring-up and debug, including board-level and component-level troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to integrate hardware with embedded systems and validate end-to-end functionality.
• Work with vendors and contract manufacturers to support prototyping, DFM/DFT reviews, and production ramp.
• Contribute to hardware documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test reports.
