Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Integration Engineer to design and bring up next-generation compute and sensor hardware for autonomous systems.

You will work across the hardware lifecycle—from schematics and PCB layouts to validation and production support—collaborating with software, firmware, and mechanical teams to ship reliable systems. You will design schematics, review PCB layouts, support bring-up and debugging, develop test plans, and coordinate with vendors for prototyping

Qualifications

• BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related degree.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit design, digital/analog electronics, and PCB layout.
• Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) for hardware debug and validation.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and hardware specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for compute, sensor, and interface hardware
• Support hardware bring-up and debug, including board-level and component-level troubleshooting
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to integrate hardware with embedded systems and validate end-to-end functionality
• Work with vendors and contract manufacturers to support prototyping, DFM/DFT reviews, and production ramp
• Contribute to hardware documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test reports
