You will design new Autonomous Vehicle features and validate them across software integration, simulation, HIL, and on-track testing to ensure peak performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Autonomous Systems, Control Systems, Systems Engineering, or CS with 1+ years of experience.
• Strong technical writing to communicate root cause analysis and verification goals.
• Experience with systems engineering and safety analysis processes.
• Hands-on robotics validation testing (HIL, SIL, Integration SW Level).

Responsibilities

• Design & Improve AV Features: design new Autonomous Vehicle features and improve existing features for performance and safety.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with product, autonomy, operations, and safety teams to define behaviors and targets.
• Validation & Verification: establish validation suites across software integration, simulation, HIL, and closed-course test tracks.
• Performance Measurement & Monitoring: implement automated checks and monitor testing and in-service data.
• Drive Safety Analysis: perform safety analyses on feature designs to ensure safe operations.
• Root Cause analysis: identify and action root causes observed during testing or road use.
