Qualifications

• Willingness to travel CONUS or OCONUS 25% annually.
• Familiarity with military wire harness build guidelines.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
• IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services in electrical and electronic engineering technician support for design, development and repair of equipment for vehicle platforms.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical/electronic problems in vehicle systems and provide solutions.
• Collaborate on design, integration, fabrication and installation of primary and secondary vehicle electrical systems.
• Fabricate cables, harnesses, switches, relays, and control devices to demonstrate design intent.
• Apply mil-spec standards to produce compliant cable assemblies.
• Assist with vehicle integrations and understand vehicle electronics under supervision.
• Test developed systems according to drawings and test plans.
