FieldAI in Irvine is building autonomous robotic systems that operate in demanding real‑world environments. We seek an Electrical Engineer to support design, integration, and validation of sensing and power systems across field programs.

You will work with power distribution, wiring, PCB design, and communications networks, collaborating with mechanical and compute teams to deliver robust, field‑ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• Experience with electrical design for robotics and field deployments.
• Proficiency in power, harnessing, PCB, and signal integrity.
• Ability to design for EMI/EMC and rugged field conditions.
• Strong documentation skills for manufacturing and servicing.

Responsibilities

• Design regulated power systems, rails, DC/DC converters, and grounding.
• Create robust wire harnesses and document layouts.
• Design PCBs for power distribution and control.
• Develop wired and wireless networking for sensors and compute.
• Collaborate with mechanical, sensor, and compute teams through lifecycle.
• Prototype, test, debug, and support field deployments.
