Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to troubleshoot and validate autonomous vehicle electrical systems in Mesa, AZ.

You will perform root-cause analysis, design tests, document procedures, and collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers. A B.S. in EE and 3+ years of hands-on experience are required, with travel as needed and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, troubleshooting, or validation.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Experience with electrical diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, CAN diagnostics).
• Familiarity with software diagnostic tools (command line interfaces, interpreting log files).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues on autonomous vehicles.
• Perform root-cause analysis and drive issues to resolution, including cross-team collaboration.
• Support the bring-up and validation of autonomous vehicle systems.
• Design, execute, and analyze electrical tests.
• Develop, maintain, and improve electrical documentation and test procedures.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to ensure successful project execution.
