Job summary

Latitude AI is hiring for a contract technician in California to diagnose and repair vehicular control modules, wiring harnesses, and ADAS systems. You will document findings, follow strict instructions, and work with cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on vehicle experience, diagnostic tool proficiency (oscilloscope/picoscope), and travel up to 25% for training and support at other offices. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with two years of employment experience.
• Experience working on vehicles professionally.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic hardware and software.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with oscilloscope or picoscope.
• Expect travel up to 25% for training and support.
• Must have valid driver’s license and meet driving record requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document all findings and track time accordingly.
• Diagnose issues using supplied hardware and software combinations.
• Communicate with cross functioning teams on electrical and electronic systems and autonomous control systems.
• Assemble, modify, and repair wiring harnesses from schematics, using hand tools and proper assembly and rework techniques.
• Experience with flashing and re-flashing automotive control modules and CAN bus operation.
• Follow documented work instructions completely and accurately.
• Validate DAT, ADAS, AV and EV systems functionality.
• Work in small teams as needed to complete engineering requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
