Job summary

Latitude AI in California seeks a Service Technician to join the Service Operations team. You will perform electric and hybrid vehicle maintenance, diagnose issues, and collaborate with internal and external customers on autonomous systems and controls.

The role requires hands-on vehicle experience, knowledge of diagnostic hardware/software, and the ability to travel up to 25% for training and support. A valid driver's license and safety screenings are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of employment experience.
• Experience working on vehicles professionally.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic hardware and software.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel up to 25% for training and support.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document all findings and track time accordingly.
• Diagnose issues using supplied hardware and software combinations.
• Communicate with cross functioning teams on electrical and electronic systems and autonomous control systems.
• Assemble, modify, and repair wiring harnesses from schematics, using hand tools and proper techniques.
• Experience with flashing and re-flashing automotive control modules and CAN bus operation.
• Follow documented work instructions completely and accurately.
• Validate DAT, ADAS, AV and EV systems functionality.
• Work in small teams as needed to complete engineering requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
