Job summary

Fleet Mobility Solutions, LLC operates the Oro Mobility program and manages a 24/7 autonomous depot facility. The Depot Operator ensures daily tasks such as charging, cleaning, inspections, and staging keep autonomous vehicles ready for safe, reliable service.

Reporting to a Depot Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, directly impacting fleet uptime, rider experience, and the success of autonomous mobility operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in fleet operations or hands-on vehicle handling roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills, including use of mobile apps and fleet management tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, standing, walking, repetitive motions).
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Charge autonomous vehicles using depot charging infrastructure according to schedules and protocols.
• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to premium quality standards.
• Conduct preservice inspections (visual checks, tire pressure, fluids, exterior and cabin readiness).
• Stage vehicles in designated dispatch areas and update status in fleet systems.
• Move vehicles safely between charging, cleaning, inspection and staging areas.
• Perform data offload tasks and connect vehicles to depot systems as required.
• Report vehicle damage, maintenance concerns, operations issues and safety hazards.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, safety protocols and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Assist with other depot tasks as assigned by Depot Supervisors.
