Qualifications

• Valid Class‑A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Professional experience operating Class‑A commercial vehicles for 3+ years.
• Completion of professional commercial driver training that covers comprehensive truck operation knowledge beyond minimum CDL licensing requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined driving habits.
• Ability to follow structured procedures and safety guidelines.
• Comfortable working in a testing and development environment.
• Flexibility to support changing test schedules and routes.
• Strong communication skills to effectively work with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to sign and comply with NDA.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class‑A commercial trucks during autonomous system testing.
• Execute predefined test routes and safety‑related driving scenarios.
• Maintain constant situational awareness and intervene when required to ensure safety.
• Follow detailed test procedures, operational instructions and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers, safety operators, and test leads during on‑road testing.
• Provide clear verbal and written feedback on vehicle behavior and observed issues.
• Maintain professionalism and compliance in complex traffic and testing environments.
• Maintain flexibility in work hours to support testing needs, including early or late shifts when required.
• Willingness to travel and support on‑road testing in other locations as required by program needs.
