Job summary

Waabi is seeking a Safety and Systems Technical Program Manager to drive safety assessments, system architectures, and verification/validation for its autonomous vehicle platforms. You will translate milestones into centralized plans and coordinate across engineering teams, leveraging AI tools to reduce friction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical program management experience leading cross-functional technical programs.
• Direct experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, aerospace, or safety-critical environments spanning hardware, software, and systems.
• Strong fluency in systems engineering, safety assurance, and requirements management.
• Hands-on use of program tracking tools like Jira and a tendency to adopt AI solutions for tracking.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technical Program Managers to align Safety, Security, and Systems plans with feature roadmaps.
• Consolidate timelines and status updates into a master plan using AI tools to reduce manual overhead.
• Provide executive reporting on Safety, Security, and Systems tasks, deliverables, and resources.
• Track verification and validation in simulation and real-world testing with TPM support.
• Lead Production Readiness Reviews (PRR) for driverless deployment and ensure artifacts meet quality gates.
• Align ongoing software evaluation with product maturity and deployment phases.
• Establish issue burndown tracking and route issues to stakeholders for resolution.
